Novelties are nearly essential for driving growth in the candy bag category. Yet, with smaller innovations, they don’t consistently translate into particularly effective campaigns—especially when the brand’s creative concept requires new productions for each novelty. To address this, Aakkoset updated its novelty communication strategy to bolster the core brand through a modular approach, which allows communication of novelties with just a few element changes while still strongly maintaining the core brand.
